i spent 1.5 hours staring at the sky. i had almost forgotten how fun it is to find images in the clouds. the one above is an old 19th century man.

wild bergamot aka beebalm. leaves are toothed and it will produce a purple flower. leaves grow across from each other. has a yummy smell. likes the sun! it can be used as a seasoning but i plan on using it for tea.

if you eat a puffball, which i seem to find in open sunny meadows, grassy areas and on the north side of the mountain, you want them white all the way thru. the pictured above is a NON example!
